Abstract:
Copper and copper alloys are widely used in aerospace, power electronics, and mechanical manufacturing due to their excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and favorable processing characteristics. The development of additive manufacturing technology offers new avenues for producing thin-walled and complex structures made of copper and copper alloys. This paper reviews the research status of powder bed fusion additive manufacturing technology for copper and copper alloys. Firstly, it introduces the development status of raw materials. Then, it mainly analyzes and researches the organization and properties of copper and copper alloy forming parts. New progress in application scenarios and case studies of copper and copper parts are discussed. Finally, the challenges in the development of Cu and Cu alloy additive manufacturing technology and the future prospects are analyzed and discussed.
