Abstract:
With developing of the communication technology, wireless communication systems have created an increased demand for being compact, antenna miniaturization attract much interest these years. Magneto dielectric materials have almost equal values of real permeability and permittivity. Magnetodielectric as a substrate for antennas is to miniaturize the size and enhance the bandwidth as well as radiation efficiency. Ferrite is a potential magnetodielectric which posses both magnetic and dielectric property simultaneously. Ferrites are materials in which Fe2O3 combined with one or more other metal oxides, and have high magnetic permeability and high electrical resistivity, so they can be applied in the high frequency. In this letter, the developing process of magneto dielectric materials is reviewed, the effect of dopants on sintering temperature, permeability, permittivity, DC resistivity are discussed. At last we point out the magneto dielectric material is a promising material for antenna miniaturization, and the development direction of magneto dielectric materials.
