Abstract:
The ultra high temperature matrix antioxidation carbon/carbon composites(UHT C/C), which integrate with carbon/carbon composites and ultrahigh temperature ceramics, were prepared via introducing of refractory compounds. Through microstructure controlling, the mechanical properties of composites were obviously increased while the reactivity was restrained between refractory compounds and carbon at high temperature. The oxidation resistant performance of these composites was tested in static state and highfrequency plasma wind tunnel, Results showed that the introduction of refractory compounds significantly increased the oxidation resistance performance of composites, the ablation length was under 2 mm after 600 seconds of the test over 2 500 ℃. And ultra high temperature matrix antioxidation mechanism of the composites was found.
