Abstract:
The rapid advancement of nanotechnology in recent years has resulted widespread application of nanoparticles. Gold nanoparticles have high extinction coefficients and unique optical and electromagnetic, properties, it has been widely used in improving the sensitivity of the biosensor. It is suitable to be used in different fields including disease diagnosis and assays for ensuring the quality of food. A special presentation on the recent findings of the National Center for Nanoscience, focused on developing synthesis and applications of controllable and functional gold nanomaterials, to build a potable highsensitivity and visualizable biochemical analysis methods series, offers a new method for the diagnosis of major diseases such as HIV and Alzheimer s disease. The biologic negative effects and the future development of gold nanoparticles are also discussed here.
